Saama is a 2D Platformer game, where a little spirit from the land of flying temples wakes up after decades of deep sleep. It is only after some exploration that is discovers what is happening to his world..
As most Platformer games, the music was extremely important to drive the player through the levels. That is why we implemented a system where every time the player crosses a checkpoint, the music slowly evolves, just like the level is evolving. If the player stops moving, the music stops as well after some time, so that the loop doesn't annoy the player.
All the sound of this game was implemented using Fmod on Unity.

THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK AND SOUND DESIGN

BY OUT OF BONES TEAM
Out Of Bones is a 3D 2-Player cooperation game in Virtual Reality, where you play as skeletons trapped in an old milk factory. Skeletons can unplug their bones and use them to solve puzzles and find the famous golden milk. It is a stimulating adventure stuffed with easter eggs and funny interactions.
The music was made to fit primarily the goofiness of the unique selling point: Skeletons detaching their arms and using them; making the visuals only a secondary source of inspiration. A narrator will guide the players through the game, while giving some story elements to the players, which greatly improves the game experience.
Key elements in Sound Design were the ambiences, collisions and interaction sounds to enhances the sense of reality in VR.
All the sound of this game was implemented using Wwise on Unreal Engine 4.

Cyanide Notebook is a student-project and a short thriller made in 2023.
Devastated by the sudden loss of her grandfather, Elie, a 16-year-old girl, experiences mysterious nightmares that lead her to delve into her grandfather’s old notebook.
The soundtrack is very orchestral and focused on textures, while remaining in an Art Nouveau style. For Sound Design, one of the key elements was the monster, as its moans had to match the grandfather's voice, especially during the revelation. Foleys, the shells on his back, as well as all the water in the movie were also significant to sound design.

4 Rose Deep Lane is a horror-themed game, in an abandonned house, where the main character can change gravity at will, and must solve the mystery surrounding this dangerous house.
The soundtrack is quite dense, unsettling also with sometimes a cute or relaxing touch. Music only appears when it is needed, such as calm zones or highly intense zones.
However, the sound design takes over the whole game, to give the player the impression that he could be in this game for real, and emphazise the horror feeling.
